Who's at The Happy Space?
The Happy Space is made up of a team of like minded therapists who care immensely about making a positive impact in their clients' lives.
Carla is a speech pathologist who has expertise in supporting the development of children’s communication, language, speech and social skills. Carla also has a Master's Degree in Education (Special Inclusion) as she is also very passionate about ensuring children thrive in their preferred educational settings.​
She is passionate about providing evidence-based and holistic interventions to children while working in partnership with their families to achieve best outcomes.
Jamima is a speech pathologist with a keen interest in paediatric feeding as well as supporting children with complex disabilities with their communication and participation.
It is important to Jamima to work collaboratively with families to achieve the best outcome for their child, using a strengths based and neurodiversity affirming approach, so that everyone can feel safe to be themselves.
Carli
Carli is an OT who has worked with people of all ages, but her particular interests are working with children and young adults and their families.
Carli has worked with a wide range of conditions and abilities, to achieve an even wider range of goals. Carli has experience working with people who have muscular dystrophies, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, developmental delays, Down Syndrome, autism and other rare conditions.
Liv
Liv is a Speech Pathologist from the Central Coast in NSW and found home in Melbourne 5 years ago. She worked as a teacher's aide while studying and finds immense joy and fulfilment in supporting children and young people to achieve their goals. She is passionate about client led and neurodiversity affirming healthcare, where children and young people feel empowered, have fun, and develop their communication skills in a meaningful way.
Phaedra has been working for over 15 years as a Speech Pathologist in Melbourne, Singapore and Athens. During this time, she has challenged herself to think outside the therapeutic box and engage in therapy approaches that are holistic, child centred and motivating. She has predominately worked within the public hospital, early intervention services as well as private practices and as a result she has extensive experience in assessing and providing therapy to children of all ages with a range of communication difficulties.
